Newcastle vs Bournemouth
Newcastle face Bournemouth in one of the all-Premier League ties of the FA Cup Third Round. We are backing a game with lots of goals as Newcastle scored four and conceded three in their last match, whilst Bournemouth scored three and conceded two in their last match. Newcastle have been great at home this season in all competitions, winning nine of their 14 home matches in the Premier League and Champions League. With Bournemouth only managing one win in 11 and Newcastle managing three wins in a row, we are backing Eddie Howe’s side to win.
Our Prediction: Newcastle 3-2 Bournemouth
Man City vs Exeter City
Manchester City have found themselves with an easy tie for the Third Round as they face League One outfit Exeter City. We are backing Pep Guardiola’s side to get back to winning ways and pick up a very comfortable victory this weekend. Exeter are on a good run of form as they have only lost one of their last five games, but with the depth that Man City have in attack, combined with the fact that this game is at the Etihad, make us believe that the away side will struggle to get anything out of this game.
Our Prediction: Man City 4-1 Exeter City
Spurs vs Aston Villa
Spurs vs Aston Villa should be a great game. Both sides will be desperate to get far in this competition, or even win it. Villa reached the semi-finals last season, while Spurs won the Europa League last campaign. Both would have preferred much easier fixtures, but they will both feel like they can pick up a win. We are backing Unai Emery’s side to pick up the win, and a big reason for this is their form. They have won eight, drawn one and lost one of their last ten matches in all competitions, whilst SPurs have only won three of their last 10 games.
Our Prediction: Spurs 1-2 Aston Villa
Charlton vs Chelsea
Chelsea will have a new manager in the dugout in Liam Rosenior and he will be wanting to kickstart his managerial career at the Blues with a win. He has good experience of the EFL after managing Hull City in the past. Charlton are in a relegation battle in the Championship and have struggled over the last couple of months. We expect that their league form will be more of a worry and they may rotate slightly to make sure they do not drop back to League One. Chelsea have a huge squad and can easily rotate with ease whilst keeping their starting lineup at a very high level. Expect goals in a Chelsea win.
Our Prediction: Charlton 1-3 Chelsea
Portsmouth vs Arsenal
Mikel Arteta desperately needs to add some trophies to Arsenal’s cabinet, and they have a perfect opportunity to do this with the FA Cup, especially with the squad depth they have this season. They also have a very good first fixture as they face a Portsmouth side who are only one point off the relegation zone in the Championship. The home side have only won two of their last eight games. Arsenal are on a great run, with eight wins, one loss and one draw in their last 10 matches and they should be able to pick up a very easy win in this match. Portsmouth have already conceded 35 goals in their 24 Championship games, so we are expecting the Gunners to score a few goals this weekend.
Our Prediction: Portsmouth 0-3 Arsenal
Man United vs Brighton
Man United and Brighton have already met at Old Trafford in the Premier League and the home side managed to pick up a 4-2 victory. Despite Ruben Amorim’s recent sacking, we are still backing the Red Devils to come out on top. Brighton are struggling for consistency at the moment and have only managed one win in their last eight games. Man United have only lost once in their last eight games and we think the home crowd will be key in seeing them get over the line this weekend. Man United are another club that desperately need a trophy this season and with them already out of the Carabao Cup and not in Europe, we expect them to go for a very strong lineup in this match.
Our Prediction: Man City 3-1 Chelsea

We definitely recommend the Sky Bet sign up offer and it’s currently one of our favourites across UK betting sites. The main reason we really like this offer is due to their minimum qualifying bet.
