Chelsea vs Sunderland
Sunderland are having a fantastic start to the campaign and currently sit seventh, so this will be a tough match for Chelsea; however, 10 of Sunderland’s 14 points have been won at the Stadium of Light this season. Chelsea being at home for this fixture makes them big favourites, especially with the Blues winning four matches in a row in all competitions. It should be a close game, but Chelsea should be able to have enough to get the three points.
Newcastle vs Fulham
Newcastle and Fulham are both struggling in the Premier League this season. They sit 14th and 15th in the division and only one point apart. Fulham have lost their last three games in a row, whilst Newcastle have a win and two losses in their last three. Fulham’s huge issue is the fact that they are leaking goals and they have already conceded 12 this campaign. Newcastle have two wins in their last three home games and with Fulham’s poor defence, we see the home side winning this match.
Manchester United vs Brighton
Both teams come into this game with some good momentum after their poor starts to the Premier League this season. Man United have two wins in their last two games, whilst Brighton are undefeated in their last four games. Brighton have been a bit of a bogey team for the Red Devils over the last few years. They have lost four and won one of their last five matches. Despite this, Old Trafford has been a tough place to come for opponents this season. Man United have won three of their four home games, with the loss being tight defeat against Arsenal. With all this taken into account, we think the pair will cancel each other out and come away with a point each.
Aston Villa vs Manchester City
Aston Villa and Manchester City are two of the in-form teams in the division. They are both undefeated in their last five Premier League matches, with Man City winning four and drawing one and Aston Villa winning three and drawing two. This makes the game a very exciting one, but we can’t see past a win for Pep Guardiola’s team due to the form of Erling Haaland. The forward has 15 goals in 12 appearances in all competitions this season and has scored in each of his last nine games for the club. With him on frightening form, Man City should be able to pick up a solid win.
Arsenal vs Crystal Palace
Most will probably be backing a win for Arsenal against Crystal Palace, but we can see a draw between the two sides. The Eagles have had the most shots on target per match and they have created the most big chances in the Premier League this season. They showed how strong they can be when they beat Liverpool at Selhurst Park and we back them to give Arsenal a tough match at the Emirates. Arsenal look like the best team in the Premier League this season and Mikel Arteta will be over the moon if they can win this tough test. The two also drew the last time they played at the Emirates.
Everton vs Spurs
Spurs have struggled a bit lately and the matches do not get easier for them as they face Everton away from home. Spurs lost to Aston Villa last weekend and they drew 0-0 to Monaco midweek. They were lucky not to lose this match against the Ligue 1 side, with goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario named Player of the Match. Everton are yet to lose in the Premier League at their new ground this season, winning two and drawing two and we see them picking up a strong victory this weekend.
