Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher also gets involved in Super 6 and they share his predictions each week. Here are his predictions alongside our betting expert’s, who managed to beat Carragher last week.
| Super 6 Matches | Luke’s Predictions | Jamie Carragher’s Predictions |
| Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest | 2-0 | 2-0 |
| Bournemouth vs West Ham | 3-1 | 1-1 |
| Wolves vs Crystal Palace | 1-2 | 1-2 |
| Newcastle vs Manchester City | 2-3 | 1-3 |
| Leeds vs Aston Villa | 1-2 | 1-2 |
| Arsenal vs Spurs | 3-1 | 2-0 |
Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest
Liverpool’s form in the Premier League has not been good recently, with Arne Slot’s side only winning one and losing four of their last five league matches, but we still expect them to pick up a comfortable victory against Nottingham Forest. Forest did manage to beat Leeds in their fixture before the international break, but it was their first win since August and we expect their inconsistent form to continue against Liverpool.
Bournemouth vs West Ham
Bournemouth take on West Ham this weekend and it’s a huge match for the Cherries if they want to keep on battling near the top of the division. It will not be easy for them as they have lost their last two matches, whilst West Ham look reenergised following wins in their last two Premier League matches. Despite recent form, we are backing Bournemouth to pick up a comfortable victory due to their home form. Bournemouth have four wins and one draw in their five home league matches, scoring eight and conceding two.
Wolves vs Crystal Palace
Saturday’s game at Molineux between Wolves and Crystal Palace may look like an easy game to call due to Wolves being winless and bottom of the table, but they now have a new manager in Rob Edwards, and this will give the home crowd and the players some extra energy as they fight to stay in the division. Palace should be too strong for their opponents, but we expect the game to be tight, with it being Wolves’ first game with a new manager.
Newcastle vs Manchester City
One of the most exciting games this weekend sees Newcastle take on Manchester City. There have been 24 goals scored between the two sides in the last five Premier League matches that have taken place at St.James’ Park. We are backing more goals again in this match, with City picking up the win. Newcastle have been inconsistent this season and have only won three Premier League games. They currently sit 14th. Man City are second, with four wins in their last five and seven wins in 11 games.
Leeds vs Aston Villa
This fixture is a huge match for both sides, with Leeds in a relegation battle and Aston Villa battling in the top six. Leeds have impressed at home, winning two, drawing two and losing once, so it will be a tough game for Villa, but with Unai Emery’s side winning four of their last five league matches and only losing three times, wwe are backing them to win this match.
Arsenal vs Spurs
The biggest Premier League match this weekend is Arsenal vs Spurs in the North London derby. Arsenal have looked unbeatable since September but a draw against Sunderland in their last match will give Spurs some hope. Arsenal have scored 20 goals this season and only conceded five, whilst Spurs are doing well as they sit in fifth, but their results have been inconsistent with the club winning two, losing two and drawing one of their last five games. Arsenal are gunning for the title and it should be a victory for the home side.
Sky Bet Sign Up Offer – Get £30 in free bets to use on the Premier League when you place ANY bet
The Sky Bet sign up offer is highly recommended, especially when compared with UK betting sites. The main reason we really like this offer is the minimum qualifying bet. Most betting sites will make you place a bet of £5 or £10 to qualify, but Sky Bet only asks for you to place a 5p bet, which then gives you £30 in free bets.
