Please note this article contains spoilers from the first three episodes of The Traitors
Minah may have seen off fellow Traitor Armani, but she looks likely to face three new challengers, after viewers were teased with another twist.
As the credits rolled on Friday night’s episode of The Traitors, the camera cut to a rail replacement service heading to the castle. The strong indication was that the trio who sacrificed their places on the opening show – Fozia, Jack and Alexander – would be given a second chance at taking up their places at the castle alongside the remaining contestants.
The news will no doubt come as a blow to Traitors Minah and Linda, who were last seen scheming about their latest potential victim in the castle turret, oblivious of the impending new arrivals.
The Traitors betting odds
As betting sites steer clear of publishing odds on The Traitors, we’ve taken confidence from our previous predictions, which signalled an early banishment for Armani. With that in mind, here are our latest Traitors betting odds, heading into week two of the four week series.
Minah retains her place at the head of the betting, although the likelihood of plenty more twists and turns in the offing means she’s far from a certainty to take home the prize fund at this early stage.
The Traitors outright winner odds
2/1 Minah – Having got the better of Armani, she’s taken on the role of lead Traitor with Linda as an accomplice. Things couldn’t be going much better, and she remains the one to beat. However, the impending arrival of three new Faithful, and the potential of more Traitors being converted to the dark side mean it’s no guarantee that Minah is the eventual victor.
5/1 Lisa – Has the Anglican priest got God on her side? Avoiding any suspicions being raised so far and taking on the motherly figure role could see her go far, as less likely to be targeted for banishment.
5/1 Leanne – Playing an interesting game early on, as the army veteran portrays herself as a ‘blonde bimbo’. Potential to progress to the latter stages.
5/1 Maia – Having seen her sister correctly identified as a Traitor, the Maia looks unlikely to be wrongly accused anytime soon. As long as she survives murder at the start of Wednesday’s show, she could go a long way in series three of the BBC’s hit TV show.
7/1 Jake – Shrewdly identified Linda as a Traitor almost immediately. Less shrewdly, decided to announce his suspicions very early on. Linda will be keeping a close eye on him, but could he be the new Jazatha Christie?
7/1 Francesca – Playing a bit-part role on the show early on, so could be fine for a while yet.
8/1 Anna – On the cusp of the show at this point, with no suspicions around her. Another that is currently going under the radar.
10/1 Dan – Currently barking up the wrong tree with some incorrect theories as to the Traitors’ identities, so could be spared murder for some time yet.
10/1 Tyler – Gradually being convinced by the Linda Traitor theories, which is no bad thing. Doesn’t appear to be drawing any attention to himself with early faux pas but appears to be more of a follower than a leader.
10/1 Alex – We haven’t seen a great deal of him yet, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing this early on in proceedings.
10/1 Livi – Another to take a back seat in the early stages, but that isn’t a problem with so long left to run.
12/1 Joe – One of the leaders in the incorrect Kasim witch-hunt. This should save him from murder but he doesn’t look shrewd enough to come through at the business end.
12/1 Leon – Going under the radar so far.
20/1 Freddie – Amongst those being considered as a candidate for murder and banishment, so his days may be numbered one way or the other.
20/1 Charlotte – Being led down a wild goose chase with suspicions over Kasim. It appears that some of her fellow Faithful have their eyes on her for an early banishment, so prospects aren’t overly healthy.
25/1 Kasim – Appears to be putting his foot in it with the way he’s been acting. His Harold Shipman line will have earned him an early cult following with viewers, but he looks increasingly likely to be targeted for banishment before much longer.
25/1 Linda – Struggling to shake off suspicions in her early days as a Traitor. Also doesn’t appear to have the nous that Minah has, so will likely be sacrificed to the baying Faithful in due course.
25/1 Alexander, Fozia or Jack – If they’re given a reprieve then who knows how they’ll fare. Building allegiances could be a concern, but Alexander may yet flourish given his background as a diplomat.

Next Traitor banished odds
With only two Traitors left, it looks virtually certain that Linda’s head will be next on the block. Having got the better of Armani, Minah’s game plan is falling into place, whilst Linda looks like an accident waiting to happen.
Of course, more Traitors could yet be recruited, but the odds suggest Minah will survive longer than her one remaining ally.
Name | Next Traitor Banished Odds | Implied Percentage |
Linda | 1/10 | 91% |
Minah | 8/1 | 11% |
Next Faithful murdered odds
The third episode left us waiting on which of five Faithful would be murdered. Logically, killing off Maia seems the best decision here, given she’s virtually certain to avoid banishment at any point, but remaining Traitors Minah and Linda were swaying more towards Charlotte as the episode ended.
1/2 Charlotte – described as ‘traitor hungry’ by Minah, and her potential murder appeared to have the strongest support from Linda.
2/1 Maia – Another potential murder option here, but Linda appeared unsure when the possibility was raised by Minah in the turret.
5/1 Freddie – Has created suspicions around himself, but can’t be completely ruled out as a murder option.
20/1 Jake – Appears to have been ruled out as an immediate candidate for murder.
25/1 Kasim – As Minah said, “Kas will definitely get banished [next]”, so even if that theory is proved incorrect, a murder seems highly unlikely.
Name | Next Faithful Murdered Odds | Implied Percentage |
Charlotte | 1/2 | 67% |
Maia | 2/1 | 33% |
Freddie | 5/1 | 17% |
Jake | 20/1 | 5% |
Kasim | 25/1 | 4% |
Next Faithful banished odds
Is there any way that Kasim avoids the suspicion that continues to surround him? The head says no, but invariably something significant happens during each episode to avoid it being a foregone conclusion. On the off chance that Charlotte avoids murder, she and Freddie appear the most likely candidates to be incorrectly banished next.
Name | Next Faithful Banished Odds | Implied Percentage |
Kasim | 6/4 | 40% |
Charlotte | 3/1 | 25% |
Freddie | 4/1 | 20% |
Jake | 5/1 | 17% |
Any other Faithful | 6/1 | 14% |
Next Faithful recruited as a Traitor odds
We’re started to getting into the realms of lucky guesses now, with so many uncertainties yet to play out before we find out who’ll be the next Faithful to be recruited as a Traitor.
If Minah and Linda want someone who is unlikely to be suspected, Maia, Lisa, Leanne and Livi look like the best options and would be our favourites. Alternatively, they could pick someone who is doomed to fail – Kasim, Charlotte, Freddie or Jake – in order to keep suspicions off themselves.
Whichever way it pans out, it’s sure to be compulsive viewing.

What’s the format of The Traitors?
In the previous two series of The Traitors UK, 22 contestants – rising to 25 for this series – came together at Ardross Castle in Scotland. Some were given the role of playing Traitors, whilst others are categorised as Faithful. If the Traitors can’t be identified by the final show, they will take home the entire prize pot, which is typically around £100,000. If the Faithful can successfully uncloak every Traitor, it is they who will be rewarded with the prize money.
Presenter Claudia Winkleman has spoken of plenty of new twists and turns in the build-up to series 3, as producers aim to keep the show fresh and viewers guessing right up to the nail-biting conclusion.
As with the previous two series, all the competitors are general members of the public. A number of those that have taken part before have since seen their careers and celebrity status flourish. Mollie Pearce, runner-up in series 2, gave up her job following her appearance on The Traitors, and will participate in the latest series of Dancing on Ice. The current Dancing on Ice odds again have her slated to reach the final stages, with the disability model vying for favoritism alongside Love Island’s Chris Taylor and Dan Edgar from TOWIE.
Previous winners of The Traitors UK?
There have only been two series of The Traitors in the UK so far. The first eventually saw Traitor Wilfred Webster correctly identified by a trio of Faithfuls, and so Aaron Evans, Hannah Byczkowski and Meryl Williams split the prize pot. The tables were turned in series two though, as Harry Clark deceived his rivals. They were unable to identify him as a traitor, as so he claimed the entire prize fund for himself.
Series | Winners | Traitors Role | Prize Fund |
1 | Aaron, Hannah & Meryl | Faithful | £101,500 |
2 | Harry | Traitor | £95,150 |
3 | tbc | tbc | Up to £120k |
Is there a Celebrity version of The Traitors?
Although there hasn’t been a Celebrity version of The Traitors in the UK yet, that will change later in 2025. Some impressive names are rumoured to have signed up for the show, including actor Stephen Fry, comedian Alan Carr, political journalist Robert Peston, Friends star Courteney Cox and diver Tom Daley.
Seeing celebrities take part wouldn’t be a completely new thing, given US Traitors already runs with that format, but it would break new ground on this side of the Atlantic.
