The Traitors Series 4: Secret Traitor betting odds revealed

The new year is here which means millions of viewers have once again been glued to their TV screens to watch the Series 4 in the award-winning TV show The Traitors.

Claudia Winkleman is back to preside over a group of 22 individuals, each given a role to play, whether it’s that of a Traitor or a Faithful. Then, over 12 episodes spread across January, the competitors will use their powers of deduction, deception, and indeed manipulation, to outwit each other in the quest to win in excess of £100,000.

The Traitors latest news

The big news from the first week of series 4 is the introduction of a red cloak-wearing Secret Traitor. This new addition has the power to select a shortlist of three Faithful to banish, with the final decision ultimately taken by the normal Traitors.

The introduction of this new twist has split viewers, but it’ll soon be back to business as usual, with the Secret Traitor being forced to relinquish their special powers and join the remaining Traitors in the famous castle turret.

The Traitors betting odds

If previous episodes are a sign of what to expect, then being able to bet on the outcome of The Traitors may be a forlorn hope, with UK betting sites wary of leaks coming to light. With that in mind, we’re not afraid of putting our reputations on the line. And, having bet on numerous reality TV shows over the years, you can be sure that The Traitors betting odds we publish are a fair interpretation of the most likely outcome.

Secret Traitor odds

After series 2 saw a string of male Traitors chosen and then recruited, it would be a risky move if producers have chosen another man to be their first Secret Traitor.

Initial shortlists have also hinted at a female being the one to wear the new red cloak, while Fiona’s claims that she’s intentionally playing dumb in front of the remaining contestants also points the finger at her.

The likes of Amanda, Jessie or even Harriet are all potential Secret Traitors too, with a male option far less likely to us.

The Traitors outright winner odds

Predicting the ultimate winner or winners this far out is a tricky business, particularly after Claudia promised more twists than ever ahead of the series launch.

Jessie is one character to catch our attention early on, combining insight and strong gameplay without being such a big character as to draw attention to herself. She therefore heads our outright winner market, while the Traitors are on the back foot, having been seen to struggle under pressure.

Next Faithful murdered odds

We know the Secret Traitor is keen to see the back of Maz, after the retired civil servant twice made their shortlist to be murdered. Harriet may also be in danger soon, after successfully leading the Faithful in banishing Hugo.

Ross and Amanda are among those to have aroused suspicion early on, so it’d be no surprise if the spotlight returned to them. Rachel may also be in danger if she was caught red-handed in the process of shortlisting Faithful for murder.

Previous winners of The Traitors UK?

There have been three series of The Traitors in the UK so far. The first eventually saw Traitor Wilfred Webster correctly identified by a trio of Faithfuls, and so Aaron Evans, Hannah Byczkowski and Meryl Williams split the prize pot. The tables were turned in series two though, as Harry Clark deceived his rivals. They were unable to identify him as a traitor, as so he claimed the entire prize fund for himself. Then, in series three, Charlotte Berman, looked on course to secure another victory for Team Traitor, before being stung by the Seer power twist, allowing Jake Brown and Leanne Quigley to share a prize pot just shy of £100,000.

Will there be another Celebrity version of The Traitors?

The first celebrity version of The Traitors aired in the UK in 2025, with Alan Carr somehow deceiving the Faithful to secure the prize money for charity. The BBC have already confirmed that a second Celebrity version of The Traitors will be filmed later in 2026, so we can expect it to be aired in autumn of the new year.
