Tudor dynasty to begin with derby bang
The first North London derby of the season was as one-sided a spectacle as this fixture has ever seen. Sunday November 23rd at the Emirates Stadium, a bewildered Thomas Frank looked on in disbelief as his woeful charges were torn apart by their most bitter of rivals, losing 4-1.
Fast forward three months and, with Spurs barely any better – they have won just two of their last 11 in all competitions – Frank has gone and it’s Igor Tudor, most recently under-achieving at Juventus, trying to get out a tune out of the Lilywhites.
It is a daunting first test for the Croatian, especially with Arsenal positively bristling after chucking away a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 at Wolves on Wednesday.
Spurs simply cannot afford to be as supine under Tudor and in front of their own fans as they were at Arsenal in November and that promises a fun spectacle. We know Tottenham have attacking tools and we also know they cannot defend. Both teams have scored in six of their last seven in the league.
And we also know that Arsenal are feeling the heat. They are a short price to deliver at Tottenham because they are far the better side, but have the wounds from Molineux healed?
What looks certain – because a 0-0 draw does no one any favours – is that there should be plenty of goals, probably at both ends.

Zubi to fire out title warning to rivals
The lack of an attacking threat from midfield was one of Arsenal’s big let-downs at Molineux on Wednesday. Don’t expect Tottenham should presume it will happen again.
Declan Rice had one shot at Wolves, Zubimendi none, a woeful return from players whose defensive duties are rarely questioned, but who are also critical components in Arsenal’s attacking gameplan.
Zubimendi has scored five goals in the Premier League this season and averages almost a shot a game, expect the Spaniard, like the rest of his team-mates, to come out swinging at Tottenham and back him to have at least one shot on target.

Derby rivalry can see Spurs card count rise
Spurs had three players booked at The Emirates in November during that shocking 4-1 loss – not bad given they barely landed a blow against their nearest and not-so-dearest.
Now, with a teak-tough ex-defender in charge in Tudor, expect some muscles to be flexed which should, in theory, also mean the odd line gets crossed.
Spurs have seen a league-high 69 cards in 26 games, so have no doubt they can pick up at least three this weekend.
One man who should be delighted to see Tudor in the technical area is Randal Kolo Muani, the Frenchman having flourished under the Croatian at Juve last season.
That should get him a start in a likely front four and make him a spot of value to have an effort on target.
Arsenal’s best threat will always be from set-plays where centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes, scorer of three goals and averaging almost a shot a game, should be chanced to have an effort on target.
