Warrington Wolves vs Leeds Rhinos Betting Tips and Predictions: Rhinos can charge to victory

Updated on

Little has separated Warrington Wolves and Leeds Rhinos at the start of this season but something will have to give when they clash at Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday night. Here are three expert betting tips for the big match.

Warrington Wolves vs Leeds Rhinos Tips

  • Leeds Rhinos to win @ 11/5 with bet365
  • Matt Dufty anytime tryscorer @ 7/4 with bet365
  • Ryan Hall anytime tryscorer @ 2/1 with bet365

Rhinos can build on Warriors win

Leeds sent out a real statement in their last match with an impressive 12-10 victory over reigning Super League champions and rivals Wigan Warriors at Headingley.

Leading 6-4 at the break, tries from Riley Lumb and Jack Sinfield gave Leeds their third league victory of the season and moved them up to sixth in the table, just above Warrington.

Now Leeds will try to build on that gritty performance when they head across the Pennines on Friday to face a Warrington side who have stumbled at home at times this season.

The Wire’s last home game saw them come unstuck against Wakefield, losing 30-16 against Trinity despite the hosts scoring the opening try of the game.

Leeds have won three of their last six games against Warrington and they may be capable of causing an upset on Friday night.

Dufty can strike again

Matt Dufty has already scored four tries in the Super League this season and he is worth backing in the anytime tryscorer market for this clash.

Dufty has been a thorn in the Rhinos’ side in their most recent meetings, scoring in each of the last four encounters between the sides.

The Australian full-back bagged a second-half hat-trick the last time he faced Leeds and is a decent price to add to his tryscoring record on Friday.

  • Warrington Wolves vs Leeds Rhinos Tip 2: Matt Dufty anytime tryscorer @ 7/4 with bet365

Hall can lead Leeds charge

Veteran winger Ryan Hall looks to be enjoying life back with the Leeds Rhinos and he is another player to consider for a try at Halliwell Jones Stadium this week.

Scoring tries in back-to-back games against Salford Red Devils and Castleford Tigers in Super League, Hall has clearly not lost his knack of knowing where the tryline is at the age of 37.

A real leader in this Rhinos side since making a return following his spell at Hull KR, Hall will look to set a strong example in another big game against Warrington.

Failing to score on his 500th career appearance in the win against Wigan last time out, Hall will be determined to get on the scoresheet again this week and he still has the pace and power to go over for the visitors in what should be a thrilling contest under the Friday night lights.
